Who is fletcher?
Fletcher Kim is an actor, singer, dancer, and photographer originally from Raleigh, North Carolina. After moving to Colorado, he began studying at Denver School of the Arts as a vocal major. There, he studied classical, choral, and jazz music. As an underclassman, he was also involved in a community outreach music program at a nearby elementary school. During his time as a senior, Fletcher acted as an assistant director to their middle school Treble Choir where he began to conduct and arrange music.
After graduating with an Arts Endorsed Diploma in 2018, Fletcher moved to New York to study Vocal Performance at NYU Steinhardt. There, he is currently studying music theatre in the studio of David J. Baldwin. New York credits include: Urinetown (Billy Boy Bill), Mea Culpa (Fritz), The Secret Garden (Concert Ensemble). Regional credits include: Be More Chill (Michael Mell), Heathers (Beleaguered Geek), In the Heights (Featured Dancer), Les Misérables (Marius).
Aside from performing, Fletcher’s love of being behind the camera started in middle school. Throughout high school, as friends began to play concerts in the local Denver area, he started to photograph most of their shows. Since that time, he’s photographed dozens of live musical artists, theatrical productions, and portraits of performers like himself. Find me on Instagram: @fletcher_kim
Currently, when he is not behind or in front of a camera, he can be found studying in New York City!
